high school accreditation...need quick help.

I am a high school senior in Syria, I intend to apply to college next year in the US but today a friend of mine told me that his Bro went to Germany to study but they didn't accept his high school diploma and that the UNESCO doesn't recognize the Syrian high school diploma as an accredited 1.
so what do you think?? and how can I make sure of that??</p>

<p>You need to contact the schools you’re interested in and ask their policy for Int. HS accreditation.</p>
