High school achievements on transfer application?

I’ll be a high school senior in August and I won’t have to worry about this for quite awhile (if at all), but I’m just curious. Is it okay to put a high school achievement or two on your transfer application, even though you’re coming from college? I’m my school’s drum major and if I transfer I still want the university to know that I was in an important leadership position. Thanks

Yes, junior and senior are most usually the ones put in, although if you did it for four years put it in. What are they going to do? Get huffy about it? People say oh don’t do it, but what difference does it make? It can only help. My daughter had an array of high school (some long term ones from 9th grade) and some CCC listed. It worked out fine with her.

And - if you have a high GPA and are eyeing a scholarship they like seeing long term leadership or activities. Now if it was just one year freshman or sophomore year, that could probably be left out.

Thank you!!

Why not include what you did in hs school, I’ve done way more in hs than what I’m doing now.
