I have a 97 GPA with my freshman and this year combined, i plan on working my tail off so i can get the ADV honors regents diploma more for myself because i want to be a teacher so i don’t plan on going to like NYU. I want to go to SUNY cortland, i came across it and just something about the school made me fall in love. that’s definitely my #1

So where do you guys plan to apply for college? For me it is only two University of Oklahoma and Johns Hopkins University

Penn, Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, Virginia, Duke, Georgetown, Texas, and some others

my top schools right now are Barnard and NYU and I’m planning on applying to my state school as a safety

Harvard (It’s a crapshoot so you never know)
Duke
Vanderbilt
Johns Hopkins
WUSTL
University of Alabama (safety)

I have a huge list of schools I’m considering. I really hope that visiting will help narrow it down or I’m going to spend a fortune on application fees. :P

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Brown
Northeastern
Georgetown
Vassar
Wellesley
Washington and Lee
American

I’m hoping that killer essays will give me that edge. I am a two-time cancer survivor, so you can guess what I’ll write about. Might as well milk the situation.

No, lol I just really like commas and apostrophes ;p

I love it when people say this LMAO

My list:
Duke, UNC, JHU, UVA, Dartmouth, Cornell, BU, Rutgers, TCNJ

Japan: Waseda, Meiji, and TUJ
Korea: Yonsei
America (Only Northeast schools figured out so far): Barnard, NYU, Temple, Boston, Tufts, Smith, Hampshire, and UMass-Amherst.

I want to start looking at schools on the west coast as well. xD

I was thinking about a couple of Ivies, not because they are Ivies but because they have am outstanding East Asian program (Columbia, Cornell, and Dartmouth), but a) it’ll cost a lot of $$$ to apply to every single school that I want to apply to, plus b) the chances of getting in are so slim, and there are other universities with stronger East Asian programs and easier acceptance rates.

HELL NO. East coast’s where it’s at :)

Actually, it’s hard for me to picture, in my head, a shore being on the west coast. It would just feel very weird knowing that I am not swimming along the east coast shore.

^^ Haha I’m looking at the East coast as well, don’t worry! hahaha

Today was my last full Monday! :)

Aww, I still have a month and 1 week left of school >.> then I go on a cruisee yessss ! rayna do you have finals?

Uhh why are people applying to JHU? I don’t need any more competition lol :P

Haha, like 2-3 people makes a difference =p
I love the colours of JHU DUKE AND UNC. UGH I WANNA REP THEM SO HARD

Anyway, my schedule for next year:

English for the native speaker

Study Hall

AP Gym

Study Hall

AP Lunch

AP Study Hall

Religion in Literature and Film

The prerequisite for AP Lunch is that you must be able to chow down 10 taco bell soft tacos in under 20 minutes. And also a large coke.

= looking like a loser by posting 3 times in a row

did anyone get the result from the JPL summer intership for high schoolers this year?

Jet propulsion. I have no idea what that is XD

A cruise sounds fun! I went on one in 5th grade lol

Last Tuesday! <– I will be annoying because I am excited. :P

Dang! I still have about a month till school is over. so excited for tomorrow, it’s my last AP test. =)

My school’s policy is … no late ap TESTS. we pay the full $90 btw.
I think it’s because we can’t afford proctors for the later dates.
