Freshman here. Aspiring to be a neuropsychologist or a radiologist.

So far, Northwestern’s HPME is my favorite, but its ridiculous acceptance rate scares the whiz out of me. I would still probably go to NU, if I were accepted, regardless if I got into the program or not.

Hey, I’m a freshman too. I’m hoping to either be a corporate lawyer or something with history or business, but not sure yet. I want to go to NYU or an ivy league school. Nice to meet you guys. How’s high school treating you guys so far?

I think I want to go to Penn as well (especially their Huntsman Program), but I also really like Amherst and Williams. I’m horrible with the “What do you want to be when you get older?” question, but right now I’m aiming to be an author or involved in sports management. Too busy worrying about boarding school applications to even think about it right now!

Nothing really. So AAD256 have you found a medical field you like somewhat? Cassat, do you have any idea what genre and age group you might want to write for and good luck with your boarding school applications?

I’m most likely going to have a job related with business or engineering. I used to be really bad at science, but I get physics because it’s mainly math and I like it. However, it’s probably just really easy because my school on the most part is easy. That is, until the 11th grade and IB starts.

^ Haha third switch in a matter of days? Can’t blame you though cause everyday I’m changing as well. I guess I’ll be looking more deeply and have a list to apply to, but the one I apply ED to will be a big decision. The downside is, I have gone to a small private school since the 2nd grade so I don’t know if I’m smart or not compared to the rest of the freshmen.

@Fallbrookgirl:
I really enjoy writing typical young adult fiction. Making a living out of it would be difficult, but I can dream. (: And thanks! It’s a really annoying process. Hahaha

@jalapenyoface: No I didn’t take the psats last year, but I am planning to take it next year. Did you? @cassat: Writing young adult fiction sounds interesting. I know how you feel with the whole writing is a difficult way to support yourself because I write poetry mostly. Do you know if you want to write short stories or novels? @oolonn: Bet youre pretty smart considering you are on CC. @doctordime13: You seem pretty indecisive with your choices for college. I guess we’ll all be that way till we send out all out applications senior year. @AAD256: Oncology sounds like an interesting field.

jalapenyoface;
I took the PSAT ( even though only juniors were allowed, harhar. None of the councilors really noticed when I signed up, soooo… ) and I got:

for a grand total offff 193, which is in the 94th percentile.

I also took the actual SAT back in 8th grade and got 1970 ( another facepalm on my part ). So hopefully I’ll be able to raise those up by junior year.
