I am currently a junior in high school and I am planning on attending a California community college and then transferring to a 4 year. Because I am particularly interested in transferring into Econ at UCLA, which requires a 3.95 GPA, I would like to know what the relationship between your high school GPA and your projected, or expected, GPA in a community college is. I have a 3.96 weighted GPA (with honors/AP classes) in high school and I want to know what GPA I would be likely to get at a CCC. Is community college more difficult? Easier? What are the chances of a 4.0? Any advise or answer is greatly appreciated!

Also, I am planning on attending Santa Monica College if that makes a difference.
