<p>Catchy songs too. I've been trying to write my paper, and the songs have been playing in my head over and over again. And I'm not even annoyed.</p>
<p>Because of my sister, we own the dvd and the soundtrack.
Every saturday morning at like 8.30am, I wake up to "breaking free... ohh we're breaking free.." and "bop to the top, dont ever stop, bop to the top, gimme gimme, shimmy shimmy" and "we're all in this together, once is something hand in hand something make our dreams come trueeeeeee wild cats something something wave your hands in to the air, thats the way we do it something we'll show you how?" or something like that.
I've seen the movie and the acting by the 2 main characters is SO horrible.
My sister's computer wallpaper thing is covered with the Troy guy.
And my sister got extra excited yesterday because she found out that there was a girl called Amanda Tisdale in her school (she informed me that one of the actress' name is Ashley Tisdale or something).
But i agree, the songs are horribly catchy.</p>

<p>it makes me want to throw up. the local town theater near me is having a production of it. nothing can be worse than a high school adaptation of a movie of a high school musical.</p>

<p>Oh, god, please no. I really, really, really don't understand the success of this movie, at least not on the level that it's at. It's like an incredibly horrible music video. Yeah, okay, the songs ARE catchy, but the singers - I guess they could be worse, but there are so many more talented kids out there.</p>
<p>And don't deny it! You think the brother/sister relationship with those blonde kids is weird too! If they're in every school production together, then they HAVE to kiss, right?</p>

<p>Well, the target demographic is ages 9-14, and I'm guessing most CCers aren't part of that age group. I am, so :p</p>
<p>I'm thirteen and I think that movie is so stupid. You can tell from the start that their voices are DEFINITELY edited. Their lip syncing sucks, too. The acting was horrible.</p>
<p>I've never watched it, or heard any of the songs, and I'll do my best to keep it that way.</p>
<p>haha... I must admit that the acting sucks; however, you just can't help loving it ... I read an article about it on MTV News.... now that was hilarious... trying to explain what it was and why the songs were at the top... haha.</p>
