DS suffered a serious concussion the first week of second semester. Two months out, he is still recovering. He is treading water in some of his classes, but not doing as well as first semester. He has not been able to keep up in AP Physics. He has missed 7 exams and several quizzes. His teacher suggested changing him to pass/fail to take some pressure off. As a side note, DS also has documented anxiety and ADHD. Does anyone know how colleges handle a high school pass/fail class? It would be supported with documentation from his doctor and the high school. TIA
Is your son a senior and has been accepted to RPI?
If so, I suggest to contact RPI directly.
Contact RPI- this happened to my friend and he still ended up alright. They’ll just want the medical documentation and such.
