Hi, I will be a senior next year, and I want to major in Engineering. Could you give me any suggestions on making my senior year count?

This is what I'm planning for my schedule: Are these good classes to take?
AP Language <<Apparently you need good writing and communication skills
AP Computer Science <<for computer engineering
Honors Physics<<Can't take AP since I haven't taken Honors yet
Multivariable Calculus<<for improving math skills
Applied (Engineering) Science<<for engineering

Do I need these two classes? Are there any better alternatives? I've already taken AP Chem, World, Gov, BC Calc, and Envi Sci
AP Economics
Anatomy

Thanks!

Edit: So my counselour said I would most likely have to switch a class or 2 because of scheduling conflicts. Which 1-2 should I take out, and what should I replace them with?

Basically I see the most important classes as:
- Calc
- Physics
- AP Computer Sci
- AP Lit
- Applied Sciences

2 and 3 are pretty interchangeable (depending if you want to go into computer/electrical or mechanics).

It may seem counterintuitive to have the “Engineering” class last, but I believe whatever they teach you in that class in high school won’t really compare to what you learn in college. Where as the calc, physics, and computer science will help build a foundation for concepts you’ll use throughout your college career.

AP Lit isn’t all that important either. I got a gen ed credit from when I took AP Lit so it’s not that big of a deal, but it is 1 less gen ed class you’ll have to worry about.

Ok thanks! I will definetly keep
-Multivariable Calc
-Honors Physics
-AP Computer Science
-AP Lang (i need an english class anyway)

and I will switch out of Applied Science, if my schedule won’t fit :)

Any other suggestions? :)
