High School Senior here

Hi, I'm a senior in high school this year, but I a seriously thinking about taking some community college classes next semester (maybe just 1). Tentatively, I would attend an ivy-tech anatomy and physiology class in my town.

I have taken physics I honors last year (not physics II because its not calculus based so no colleges give credit for it),
Biology AP last year and got a 5 on the exam,
Chemistry AP this year and doing well
Calculus AP BC this year and doing... well... above average we'll say

but I have to fill my schedule with garbage like psychology AP (our psych class is terrible) and entrepreneurship (recent college grad teacher, never owned a business, we just do book work)
I want to take more sciences, but my school only has regular science classes left like earth-space and anatomy and physiology, but they're incredibly easy and not for college credit.

Plus, it'd be fun to go to college a few days a week or whatever, especially if my school will let me leave an hour early those days (doubtful).

Thoughts? Will colleges not like that I have done this (looking at Uchicago, WashU, etc.), will it make me look like a transfer student? Even if I don't get credit for the class, I would at least be learning

first, getting a hard science class like one you would want might be difficult for someone who just “wants” to take it versus someone who “needs” to take it, yknow what i mean?

colleges wont look down on it. recreational learning never hurt anyone. just dont fail it if you decide to take it for credit/grade. and you can always take it for no credit as well.

and im not sure what would happen if u were to get credit for it…if no one on here can answer id ask either your school of choice (Uchicago, washU etc.) or ask the CC u want to attend. :)
