Why do 25% of admitted students transfer out of this school after freshman year?

The retention rate is more like 88% (12% leave after their freshman year). Look it up in any of the guidebooks/rankings. It's about the same at Rhodes as it is at similar colleges.

i think its because alot of ppl just dont like it..

several of my classmates are leaving as well..

I don't think that statistic is accurate.

I know that a few people have left already. But all of them were due to personal issues that needed to be taken care of. And I know of one classmate who won't be attending next year due to finances.

All in all, most everyone that I know really likes Rhodes. I don't hear too many complaints. I'm sure that some transfer because they don't like the school, but that's true of every other school as well.

Sorry, I may have misread the stat on College navigator. It says that there is a 24% transfer rate but that may not be limited to Freshman year.
