Does anyone know why getting higher subscores can result in no change in the composite?
My latest ACT scores:
26 in English
27 in Math
20 in Reading
28 in Science
composite Score of 25, with an 8 on the writing.

My June test was:
26 in English,
26 in Math,
19 in Reading,
27 in Science,
composite Score of 25, with a 9 on the writing.

I am a little confused how I can go up a point in 3 subjects and still get a 25?

Your composite score is a simple average of your four test scores.

Your scores on each of the four tests (English, Math, Reading, and Science) are computed from “sub-scores”. That is where the “complex algorithms” are used.
