HIGHER SCHOOLS; How do colleges tell!? Do I need to say?

If students rarely or mostly go to top schools, how do colleges tell?? Which looks better?

what do you mean? if students from your high school mostly go to top universities?
or if are you saying your high school is a top school?

Well I know my school is not a "top" school and it is rare to send kids to a top university or to even graduate..does that look bad? or do they think its good that I am against those odds?

It looks good if you're doing the best you can with what you're given.

Your school sends something called a school profile with grades and stuff. This document has all sorts of information from Average SAT/ACT scores to how many APs are offered to average GPA and all that kind of stuff.
So it is full of all the statistic of your school. Some schools include how many kids go to 4 year institutions and where they go. SO they just have to look at that

Ok thanks. Im just nervous that I cant compete as efficiently as students from "top" schools. Its not my fault my school is lower because I work just as hard. I guess Ill soon see..

You are usually judged by what you did with the opportunities you had at your high school. Intellectual curiosity and academic potential will shine through, regardless of where you attend school.
