How do colleges judge the difference in difficulty of two hs's?

like i thought that was a big reason for the SATs but now im realizing that a bunch of schools im applying to dont care about SATs and im a touch worried that kids with higher GPAs are gonna get in over me because their schools arent as tough...(like kids who get higher scores in a class but dont do as well on the AP)

and people from my school really dont apply to same schools as im applying to so like the schools cant say "oh well this student for this school did well so lets let this other kid with similar stats in from that schools"

im a little nervous

There is more to an application than GPA/SAT. If they don't care about SATs then they are gonna look more at your ECs and Essays. Relax.

They look at the school profiles, which is a report of all sorts of things like SAT II results, AP results, where the students end up (colleges attended), and so forth.

They look at the school profile your GC submits. It generally includes SAT I mean and medians, SAT IIs, APs, state standardized tests, percent of students graduating and then attending college, etc.
