Hi everyone,

I'm considering transferring to USC. Which major in the college of engineering has the highest acceptance rate (is the easiest to get into)? Also, how difficult is it to transfer majors in the College of Engineering there?

Thanks!

My first impulse when I saw this was:

there is no particular major in the college of engineering that is easier - it’s all pretty hard.

USC overall has approx 17.8-20% admission. When you get to specific colleges (such as engineering) that gets much tighter.

I’ll give you the same advice I give everyone else - It’s been done before, USC is hip to that game of applying to an easy major in order to get in and transfer to a harder one - and if you’re coming in already trying to game the system you may find yourself stuck in a major you don’t want. Go for what you want and be up front about it. Apply for a back-up you love just in case. Then hope for the best.
