By the way, your SAT I score is 1190, not 1200.

thanks for the reply. I got M590, V610, for a total of 1200 (I got 1190 my first try)

Thanks again!

Giob, how many APs have you taken? Jesuit offers at least 10 AP classes. If you've taken only 2 APs , that doesn't show a rigorous curriculum in context of the school. (My son's your classmate, so I know) Your SAT and GPA will hurt you. If you're applying EA, you need to take those SAT II tests ASAP. Does CB offer them in November? If so, you'll need to rush those scores. Georgetown's EA acceptance rate is about the same at RD-- 21% or so. I don't know how much your ethnicity will help if you don't meet their deadlines.
Georgetown also requires an local alumni interview.

Thanks for the input. Georgetown actually does not require SAT 2s, as I have checked with them. They said it would be okay if I send them in once I take them. Yes, I have only taken 2 APs, but have taken Alg. 2 honors, French 3 and 4 Honors, Chem Honors, Physics Honors. Who is your son?

Pepperdine would be a match; The rest would be reaches.

May I suggest looking at:

Notre Dame...Slight Reach
Boston College...Slight Reach
Trinity College (CT)...Slight Reach (not religious)
Connecticut College...High Match
College of the Holy Cross...Match
Villanova...Match
GWU...Match
Providence...Low Match
Catholic U...Safety
American...Safety
St Joseph's U (PA)...Safety

Hope this helps a little.

Giob, are you positive that Georgetown does not require SAT IIs? I checked the website and it says that for students applying for fall 2005, "candidates are also requested to submit results from at least three SAT II subject tests, including writing and two other appropriate to their area of interest." If you're applying to SFS or the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, one of those tests should include a modern foreign language.
