The Harvard Undergrad Minority Recruitment Program has been calling me lately...I know this means I won't be admitted but does being Hispanic help me at all in chances? My stats are posted in the What Are My Chances thread if anybody's curious, I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about how the minority recruitment program at Harvard works.

Of course. They'll jump on you as a minority at any college.

Expect at least 100 points SAT forgiveness and maybe up to 0.5 GPA forgiveness. Of course, your economic background has to fit in too. If your family makes 200 grand a year but you have no ECs you won't get in. But if you fit the character of the average Harvard applicant ( say 1500 SATs and 3.8 GPA and some EC leadership positions with a good essay) your chances are very good.
