History Major Stats at Berkeley

<p>Is there anyway to know what's the average GPA of people accepted in the history department? now that you are here, please go ahead chance me ( just take an educated guess if you are not sure).</p>

<p>Applied to UC Berkeley, LA, Davis, and Irvine. Please chance for each :) Thanks!

Good- Great essays

In average, only 12 unit load per semester
Dean's list, obviously.
1 W in a non-CCCT
1 F ( by error, and explained in the additional comments section) also non-CCCT
First Generation College student
Parent's Education: No high school at all
English as a second language

<p>What is importnat to know: (Junior CCC transfers)</p>

<p>UCB accepts only 24% of its History applicants ( they don't share the stats of these students)</p>

<p>UCLA accepts about 37% of its history applicants ( with an average GPA of 3.72)</p>

<p>Davis accepts about 70% of its history applicants</p>

<p>Irvine accpets about 60% of its history applicants</p>

<p>Hey, somebody do it :frowning: . I can’t start my History of the Americas essay because I’m so worried about this crap. Anyway, I know ya’ll don’t give a damn abour history, but chance me :)</p>

<p>Vedanta> You’re very competitive. The fact that you’re the first in your family to go to college (and that your parents didn’t go to high school at all) puts you way up on the radar screens for most admissions officers. That, combined with a great GPA, gives you a really good shot at all of the schools on your list.</p>
