Mine is Western and Central Europe from 1650-1830

U.S. - the 60's

U.S., Civil War to 1954

New South period although my MA thesis was on Reconstruction.

Late 19th century.

Victorian England, zeppelins, and handlebar moustaches, baby. Awww yeahhh.

TSdad, Reconstruction was a fascinating period. Not enough is written or discussed about it. Did you see the PBS documentary about the Reconstruction "wars" in Louisiana between the Republicans/carpetbaggers and the Democrats/confederate/rebels veterans a couple of years ago?

All military history, particularly that of the U.S. and the conquerors of the ancient world.

Least favorite is easily U.S. history 1960's - 1970's. It gives me a stomach ache. Ugh.

Military history post World War I is my favorite (and the focus of my major).
