I would agree that HMC is one of the best, if not best, undergrad colleges at math and science. But yeah overall America is ranked pretty low i think in math and science, but I think that has to do with comparing averages not the best of each country; and just think of the little bible belt we have and how that can affect math and science standards.</p>

<p>being asian actually is worse than being white for admissions. Asians are generally held to higher standards for college admissions than white people and especially other minorities.</p>
