<p>Hey! I'm new to this fine establishment, so forgive me if I forget any info or misinterpret any lingo you guys use.</p>

<p>Female/Asian*Burmese/California/Junior</p>

<p>So my goal schools are as follow:
New York University
UCLA
UC San Diego
UC Berkley</p>

<p>Washington University of St. Louis</p>

<p>Some schools I want to consider but think are "reaches"
U Penn
Stanford
Columbia (I do have any uncle working there as a Professor)
Northwestern</p>

<p>Major(s):
Communications (preferably multimedia or multicultural)
Environmental Studies/related areas.</p>

<p>SAT(s):
1st take: 730R 650M 610W
2nd take: 670R 660M 750W
- I am unsure if I should retake it either in June or September, any ideas?
SAT II:
I have yet to take them but I am going to take them in May

(Planned for this year) Journalism Internship</p>

<p>I've also gotten a scholarship to study abroad for a month in China last summer through Han Ban, so it is not an ambassador program you pay for.</p>

<p>My GPA is around 4.0/3.9 Weighted and maybe 3.4/3.5 unweighted. We don’t know our ranks until senior year, but compared to the class of 2009, they tell me i’m around the top 8% maybe around 30ish.</p>

<p>I highly doubt my uncle could get me in, and besides, if I can’t get in there normally, I don’t think I am of caliber to handle Columbia ):</p>

we got the same SAT score
I also hurdle on my track team
Our GPAs are pretty similar-ish
I play violin, you piano</p>

<p>For those reasons, I have no clue where you will get in, simply because I have no idea where I will get in =) </p>
