I am a student from China. I know hoby program might be popular in US but I have just heard about it. Is there anyone who has participated in it can introduce me about it. Is it worth all the money and time? How was your experience? What kind of students usually attend it? Is it competitive? Thanks here!

I went to WLC last year, best time of my life. In some states it is very competitive to get in, but as far as competition within everyone there, there’s zero. It’s not academic, it’s all leadership and international diplomacy.
I had the best time of my life, made the best friends that I still talk to daily, and wouldn’t trade the experience for anything in the world. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. The memories made there for me were absolutely priceless, and more than worth the time and money.
Students there are motivated to make a change. Above all, no matter what grades they receive, they want to help and improve the world through community service.
You will definitely not regret going to WLC, it’s in Chicago this year. Let me know if you have any more questions!
