Hockey Tickets

What does it mean when it says "VOID" for the section on the hockey tickets? A few of mine say that and I don't understand. o.O

if they’re for big or rivalry games (MSU, Notre Dame), it might mean there’s a first come, first serve process for those particular games. Like, you can definitely go, but you’ll sit in a different spot depending on first come, first serve. I know the basketball tickets work in a similar fashion.

If the void ones aren’t for big games…I don’t know.

Well, some of them are for the CCHA tournament, which might be the games we had to pay extra for? I’m not sure, but I didn’t buy those so I figured that could be it. But then it also says that for the minnesota and wisconsin tickets the 27th and 28th of november. I don’t know anything about Michigan hockey to know what the rivalries are or anything but the MSU game isn’t void like that.

Two of the Void games, Minnesota and Wisconsin, are during our Thanksgiving break and you had the option of buying them separately when buying your season tickets.

Aha, I bet all of those are extra tickets I didn’t buy, then. They must have just printed the same ticket sheet for everyone and voided the tickets for people who didn’t pay extra for those. My boyfriend gave me the money for them as an early Christmas present, so I didn’t get anything extra.

Do people not sit in their assigned seats at the hockey games either? Just curious what to expect, I am really excited for hockey to start. :)
