Holiday Card?

I applied to the 6 CUNY schools and today Baruch college sent me a holiday card. Does anyone think this could be a sign of me being admitted? It was handwritten. Did anyone else who applied get one too? Maybe I am just making up reasons for comfort since all the wait has me so anxious.

hi I also received a hand written holiday card. I don’t know how they select who they send one to or if it means anything I was curious about the same thing.

Oh ok, So I’m not alone!

Now if I could only discover the significance or if this was just sent to every applicant.

Well I know not everyone did because my friend who also put Baruch first didn’t get one, but I still don’t know how they chose they send them to. I wish someone would answer

I am a graduate of a small liberal arts college. Every year, the college sends holiday cards to all applicants. They think it is a good way to reach out. Remember, it is not just the college looking for students. The colleges also know that you are looking for a school and will apply (and likely be accepted to) more than one school. Smaller schools sometimes have a harder time creating an image with students, so they work a little harder to reach out to applicants. Do not take this as an offer of admission. It is meant more as the school wanting you to think positively of them when decision time comes.
