Holy Cross or Cornell?

I know that Cornell is community college friendly with transfer and since I also have one year experience from a great liberal arts college, I'm kind of a mixed breed. I think I have a relatively strong chance because my cum. gpa is a 3.7 through 3 semesters and I can max out at a 3.8 if I get straight As this next semester.

But what would be the better choice? Going to Holy Cross or going to an Ivy League school like Cornell? Isn't Holy Cross tougher and wouldn't it prepare me better for grad school? Is Holy Cross all its hyped up to be?

They are in reality roughly equivalent. I would go with where you would enjoy the most. Many prefer being in the greater boston metro area where HC is located than in upstate NY with their legendary snowy winters. Either is a great choice. Can’t go wrong with either.

HC is very tough to transfer into since their freshmen retention rate is like 96%
