I am not totally certain Smith has one still. My wife was told Richmond has them because a top admissions person came from Smith.
The Holy Cross admissions office is smart to request a parent recommendation.
HC admissions are also smart to double-check if a student is no longer interested (and recommend withdrawal) just prior to decision day - as a poster, above, noted.
In both cases, one can see how that will demonstrate interest (or lack thereof). And help with admissions decisions…not to mention admission and yield stats.
Their robust Early Decision (I and II) program also helps with those sorts of stats.
