Homeschooling highschool.

I'm in a virtual school through the local public school system...it sucks...bad. The tutorials aren't worth anything, the teachers aren't very helpful and they take forever to get my materials (books etc) to me.

It's about a 50/50 chance that I'm going back to public school next year. Right now we're looking at other high school options just in case I don't...

I'm a freshman this year which makes things a huge mess. Bascially...the kind of program my mom is looking for is something secular...with a challenging (but nto overbearing) curriculum and teachers that actually respond to emails and help out.

My parents aren't cool with the idea of independent homeschool. I don't care either way...

Basically, to finish this I'm asking for some reccomendations from the people here about good (accredited) high school programs...if you've dealt with them personally or know website that has more forums that I can give my parents etc it'd be appreciated.

Thanks :)

My daughter graduated from Indiana University High School in 2005. She got many college acceptances and lots of scholarship opportunities. You can email or call your teachers during office hours. (it was toll free because you just called the toll free number and they transferred the call to wherever the teacher was) We also have done classes through the North Dakota State Ed. department and those seem quite good also. Many of the teachers are at the facillity during the day and you can call them. Both have a wide variety of classes and have excellent quality curriculums. It's up to you to get the work done however. The nice thing is that they do accept transfer credit from accredited programs and apply it to their requirements. You also can get college credit, and I would say the price is reasonable.
