Homework situation at BS

keylyme- Where does your son go to school??

NMH. My older son also attended this school and I know he frequently had to request “late lights” and would be up until 1 or 2, but he overextended himself as a freshman, taking music lessons, doing jazz ensemble, and athletics. I had my younger son just stick to his academics and sports as a freshman. It is paying off in grades. He can start adding more stuff now that he has his schedule under control.

i’m just worried that everyone will be completely brilliant and i’ll be totally left behind in all my classes. :(

NeLLyRaE- same here! but first i need to be accepted in order to worry about these things D:

I barely do homework at home. All I do are the projects which I need to type or something, and that’ll take me half an hour at most. So really, I don’t do much academic work at home. I’m really worried too that bs will be such a shock and that it’ll be hard to adjust to having like 3 hours of homework every night.

It’s reassuring to know that teachers won’t pile em up on the first week or so. And Nelly - I’ll be left behind in all my classes with you

Oh well. Think positively right? If the schools accept us, then that means they probably have some faith that we’ll survive. So I guess I should just trust their choice. :)

Surprisingly I’m not to scared for freshman years workload. I already get almost 3 hours of homework a night including studying. I’m more scared about: a) getting in and b) balencing school with ec’s and sports
