<p>i have yet to finish my applytexas application so i cant view the honors application yet. So my question is how long will it take before the honors application shows up after i submit the regular application? and how does the teacher reccomendation stuff work? My teachers sent a paper copy of the reccomendation, but i just realized that there is an online program in which you have to use to submit teacher reccs. Is the prompt different? and will it matter that my teachers already sent it via paper? Also, one last question is...can i submit my stuff on Feb. 1st or do i have to do it before that date?</p>
<p>After you submit your regular application, you're suppose to receive an email from UT Admissions, confirming that they've received your app. </p>
<p>Afterwards, when you sign onto your UT Direct page, you should be able to view the honors application. </p>
<p>For the honors program, I'm not sure if they'll accept a paper-formated rec. To be on the safe side, I would do the recc through online, too. </p>
<p>You just have to enter in their email address and UT will automatically send them a form stating that you need a rec. letter (ask your teacher first, of course!)</p>
<p>I would DEFINITELY NOT wait to submit your stuff on Feb 1 because that is the due date. At least finish it 1-2 days ahead so that you can be sure it was received before the due date.</p>
<p>Just a note, according to the rec-online form (I was with my teacher when she opened it, in case it was too confusing) any paper recs will be considered in addition to the online form. So definitely have your teacher do it online too! </p>
<p>Though I didnt know the questions were available outside the site, hopefully your teacher can just copy & paste from the rec they originally wrote you.</p>

<p>I am fairly sure that the honors program only accepts online recomendations, but if your teachers saved the rec on their computer it shuldnt be a big deal, all they have to do is copy and paste.</p>
<p>My teacher had a problem with her email, so my friend email the guy who runs the recs and he gave us a hard copy...</p>
