<p>I was admitted to the Honors College a few months ago and I was wondering what the statistics are like. I know that they accept 2000 students (for 500 to matriculate), and they claim that the average SAT and GPA are comparable to Harvard, Yale, and Duke (4.0/14XX). But I was looking for some real stats--anyone?</p>
<p>Unfortunately, there are no official stats for the honors college. I'd say that the mean unweighed GPA if close to 4.0 and the mid 50% SAT range is roughly 1450-1550.</p>
<p>There are actually real statistics available on the honors website. Just do a search and you're bound to find them. Those ranges are about right though.</p>
<p>Here's what the Honors website says:
For the class entering in the Fall 0f 2005, the median SAT range was 1410-1500; the median ACT range was 31-33; the median range for unweighted academic GPA was 3.8-4.0.</p>
