Are there any Honors Colleges or Programs (anywhere in the US) that provide and automatic full ride or full tuition scholarship upon acceptance?
Automatic meaning you don’t have to do a separate application?
None that I know of.
@iiMimic - if you have certain GPA and SAT/ACT scores, yes. Check University of Arizona and University of Alabama. I know there are a couple others.
If you have a perfect ACT score and get into U of Michigan you could get a full tuition scholarship without applying for it.
Do you know the names of the others?
What are your stats? If they are sufficiently high, you could get decent merit at University of Alabama…if you can take the time to do their very short scholarship application.
It’s really hard to give you good advice without knowing your SAT or ACT score, and your GPA.
And my free advice…if you are looking for a huge merit scholarship like free tuition or a full ride, you should be willing to do any extra application that involves.
Also look into UA Birmingham and Huntsville
@mommdc I believe the Alabama schools have a short scholarship application.
I’m willing to do applications as well (if you know any that apply for my stats -3.6 weighted, 1460 SAT- I’d be appreciative to know where to find them. This question was just specifically for honors programs.
The honors college application at University of South Carolina is a doozie. It is also their scholarship application. Getting accepted to their honors college does NOT guarantee getting a scholarship. Getting a scholarship does NOT guarantee you admission to their honors college. But it’s worth a try.
The University of Alabama applications are open now…both admissions and scholarships. If you are interested in those schools…you can toss those applications and you will get your acceptance and merit aid very soon.
If you are not interested in schools in the southeast, say so.
Applications are required but should want full tuition+ honors college you’d expect a bit of extra work for that money.
UAlabama, UA Huntsville (for stem), UTDallas AES, USF (FL), Harriet Wilkes Honors college of FAU, many HBCUs, UKentucky, UTennessee, Montana State, Temple.
Perhaps West Chester U, SUNY Plattsburgh, UMW (VA), CNU (VA).
University of Mississippi offers automatic tuition for high stats. The Honors College is a separate application, though, but if you have high enough stats for the automatic full tuition, then you’re probably going to be accepted. They offer additional scholarships for the honors college (and other programs) that stack and full rides (or close) are possible. It’s on my son’s short list for that reason.
I’m willing to go anywhere in the U.S
Ole Miss is a good recommendation.
UMN Twin Cities, UMN Morris, Truman State all have good scholarships and excellent academics. UIowa and Iowa State have good scholarships, too.
You asked right on time, because some deadlines are tomorrow, so you have about 36hours.
