Hi.

I recently asked about Honors program in the thread below, but the answer was a bit confusing. So I ask once more to clarify.

I was wondering if it was possible to take honors courses (I DO NOT MEAN COURSES LIKE GREAT BOOKS, BUT I MEAN COURSES LIKE HONORS PHYSCIS 1, HONORS CALC 1, ETC.) without actually being in honors program?

The following is what dept. of phy. says:

Students who are performing at a high level (roughly a 3.4 or better) in Physics in their first or second year are encouraged to meet with a faculty advisor and elect an Honors Physics/IP concentration.

I am not sure that [Students] only refer to those who are in Honors prog.

If you let me ask one more question, it honors course really worth taking? Is there any difference between regular physics and honors physics?
