Hey guys!
I'm new to this site but so far I have found it very helpful.
I just had one question though...I was accepted into Elon University EA and received a $4000 presidental scholarship. I also completed a fellows application for the teaching and honors fellows programs. Will only getting $4000 decrease my chances at the honors program because they award students in this program $10000 plus the presidental scholarship of $4500? This would mean that if I got in, they would be increasing my presidental scholarship as well as granting $10000.
Thanks for your help everyone!

I would like to know the answer to that one too since my son also only received $4000.

As I read the website and brochure info, the Fellows scholarships are awarded in addition to the Presidential Scholarship, which is a maximum of $4500. I don’t think you have to have the maximum in oreder to receive a Fellows scholarship, and since they consider additional factors I doubt the offer of $4000 puts you at any disadvantage.

I doubt you will be at any disadvantage. The Fellows program is not just about who has the highest GPA/SAT, it’s about fit, passion and potential. Good Luck…
