So I'm looking to dual apply to Michigan, I'm applying for Theater first and then Biology if it doesn't work out. My schedule for my senior year I had signed up for Honors Physics, but I really want to take A.P. US History, but I would have to take move my Honors Physics to normal Physics. I'm Vice President of NHS, I'm in French Club, Z Club, Photo Club and THespian Club. I thought it might lighten the load a bit. And I'm Also taking Honors French, B.C. Calculus and actively participate in community theater. SO if you goods could tell me if this would seriously change the way Michigan thinks of me I would be grateful :). Thank you!

An admissions counselor at U-Mich told us, “take as many AP classes as possible.” Taking the AP US History will probably count for more (assuming a good grade) than taking Honors Physics. Even if you apply for Bio, it won’t seem to bad that you took regular instead of honors Physics. On the other hand, AP US History is REALLY a lot of work, probably the most of any AP class IMO. I would say that it’s much more work than honors physics (depending on how well your brain does the science) because there is SO much reading.
