I was admitted to IU in November and in time for scholarships. However indiana was very low on my list at the time but as i visted the campus and learned more about it the school grew on me. I was wondering if it was still possible to receive the hutton honors schoalarship even though the deadline has passed.

This is a bit confusing. Did you apply for the scholarships when you received notification inviting you to do so? If not, you are correct. The deadline was months ago, and it’s likely all available funds for the year have been distributed.

Did you accept the invitation to the Hutton Honors College? If not, they may still consider you even though the deadline is passed. It may mean you are able to get a scholarship next year.

I’m pretty sure the scholarship money stops for each class when they run out of money, probably around January/February of each admissions cycle.

They have given out a $1,000 scholarship in the past to juniors who did not receive a scholarship when they entered Hutton. I think it is just a one-time gift. You have to apply for the scholarship and have excelled in some way. Here is a link to bios of recipients for last year, which may have been the first year they had the award.
