How much of effect does being in an honors program have on finding a job right out of undergrad?

What field do you want to get into?

Also, what school are you going to?

I would say it's a great thing to have on your resume to back up your university and gpa standings. i believe it varies.

It's a good thing, but it won't make or break a deal. It's just one of those things to put on your resume to get the interview. I doubt they'll ask you about your involvement in the honor society... it just looks favorable.

At the interview, that's when they study YOU (your personality, your personal skills). They'll ask about your team work experience, your projects, etc.

You will find that most employers don't care about your grades a few years outside college. You still want your GPA to be over a 3.0. They want to see more importantly how you can contribute to the company and whether you have received the skills that fit their company.
