Hooray! You’ve been admitted to berkeley!

Just because you lack the ability to communicate effectively using the English language doesn’t mean you are from a disadvantaged background. It just means English is not your first language and you may be foreign. I’m amazed that teachers passed you though when you lack the ability to correctly pluralize words.

Lol @ sp123.

sp123,
as I have written earlier, even I don’t understand why many English speaker students from my CC end up getting C or D in most of the classes. Whereas despite being a foreigner, who lacks the ability to correctly pluralize words (as you said), I get easy A+ in almost all of my classes. Thats weird huh!!!

anyway, to talk about my background, I really am from a disadvantaged background. Thats how I get into TAP
cheers!!!

Last year, TAP students from Cal had a 90% acceptance rate (said by someone named grey and confirmed by my TAP rep). Only 2 people were rejected last year who were in the program and it was b/c they didn’t finish their pre reqs as they had listed on their application.

this year is going to be different though. Last year TAP only had ~38 students. For those of you who went to the application/essay seminar for TAP students in september, we know that there are more than 200+ members this year. I was told to expect that 90% to drop because they expanded the program.

BTW, I never had to give tax papers when I applied/interviewed to get into the program (weird)

1234, isnt that the only way to have your Cal TAP fully certified, by submitting your tax papers?

yeah…i don’t really care, im not going to question it if it’s helping me

(that’s the only smiley face i know, how do you get the cool green one with the big smile btw?)

thats weird,
I had to submit the tax documentations of my parents!
I thought they need the documents to verify our income status…
anyway, Good luck guys!!!
I have been crossing mine fingers,
