Hope some advice for transfer decision

Hi, I’m an international student outside US and I’m applying for 2016 transfer admission this semester.
I am admitted by University of Rochester, Brandeis, UIUC, UT Austin.
My current university is not in US and I really know little about these schools. So I really hope to know their reputation and academic environment in your perspective of view.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks a lot!!

All of them are good schools. UIUC is in a small town but it is a top engineering and science school. UT Austin is also very strong in engineering and science. You don’t say what your major will be. UIUC and UT Austin are both large public universities, Rochester and Brandeis are both private and smaller universities. All 4 are research universities. It is really a question of what major you are interested in and what opportunities you will have at each of these schools to develop your interests.

I forgot to say that I am in Econ major and hope to double major in math or CS
@xraymancs thanks a lot!!

What we think doesn’t matter. What your potential future employers in your home country think matters. You need to choose a university here that will help you get a job after you graduate and return home.

All that said, if you don’t want to deal with winter, go to UT Austin. The other universities on your list are in parts of the US where there is a lot of snow and very cold weather in the winter.
