Since MIT releases admission decisions 3/14 , when do you think is the latest time that I could send extra info, but have it still matter in the admissions decision? I just have so many contests in the Spring and I wanted to send my performance as extra info. (Like senior year AMC's)

Well, if you apply EA and are deferred, there will be a mid-year report for you to fill out. You report your first semester (or trimester, or whatever system your school uses) grades, and there’s a space for any updates since you applied, which would be perfect for what you mentioned. I think (feel free to correct me on this, I’m completely blanking) this is filled out in January, though, so after that I’m not sure how late they accept updates.

Hopefully this is somewhat helpful, and someone else will know more! :)

When in doubt about the timeline, send them in anyway. Worst case, they arrive too late for decisions.

That said, I don’t think you need to bombard Admissions with performances. I’m guessing you have a couple you can send in with your application, and it wouldn’t be worth sending in more unless you climb some sort of competition ladder and do well in the end.

Early-to-mid February is about the latest you can send updates. In mid-February, the admissions office goes into selection committee, and they won’t be able to use further updates.
