<p>There are a few that are (or could be) singular. The Stanford Cardinal, Syracuse Orange (referring to the color, although their mascot is the fruit), Harvard Crimson, Alabama Crimson Tide (or just Tide), NC State Wolfpack, St. John’s Red Storm, Tulane Green Wave, Dartmouth Big Green, Cornell Big Red, Nevada Wolf Pack, Marshall Thundering Herd (or just Herd), William & Mary Tribe, etc.</p>
