Just came across Hopeless to Harvard while doing a search on google today. Anyone here read it and/or used its advice? If so what did you think of it? Thought I'd gauge a reaction from people other than the ones posted on the author's blog to see whether it does what it claims.(Amazon doesn't sell it amazingly, there's only an e-book available from the author's website).

I stumbled across it and I’m wondering the same thing. It seems a little snake-oil-esque, but I’m still curious.

[College admissions advice: from the astute to the asinine - National College admissions | Examiner.com](http://www.examiner.com/college-admissions-in-national/college-admissions-advice-from-the-astute-to-the-asinine)

Well, I guess the surefire way of getting into Harvard really doesn’t exist. Darn.

Is it just me or does anyone else wonder why there is a picture of an Indian-looking girl ferociously sucking on a lolipop in the article?

^ LOLOLOL she doesnt look indian ;P

Let’s not digress guys. And she so doesn’t look Indian
Well I read the e-book with someone who had it, and I thought what the article said pretty much summed it up. I have a hard time believing it’s a legitimate source, especially with him charging $47. His advice was ok, but there wasn’t anything earth-shattering that you would have had absolutely no idea about. Basically, Ivy admissions are just as ambiguous and unforeseeable as before.
