Hoping for admission to MIT, Princeton or WPI

I am a female, currently in my Junior year. I am hoping to take up electrical engineering in the college.

I have A or A- grades in most of the courses, all Honors level. I have taken AP History this year and plan to AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Physics and AP Biology (if class schedule allows) in the senior year.

My SAT reasoning test score is 2300 (Math 700, Critical Reading 800, Writing 800). I plan to give the test once more to improve my composite score. I hope I can improve Math score if I can avoid silly mistakes...

EC list: Computer team, Academic decathlon, Math team member. 200+ community service.

I request knowledgeable people to tell me what my chances are at MIT and Princeton. If I have chances to secure an academic merit scholarship at WPI, I would like to apply there, too.
Thanks,

WPI: Safety
MIT: Reach (being female should help)
Princton: Reach (lack a good "hook")

Yeah, I too am pessimistic about MIT and Princeton. I think I will stay in the New England area, will apply to WPI, Tufts, Northeastern U, etc., all of which have decent engineering programs.
Also thinking about Univ of Rochester, they have a good optics program.

I think you should certainly apply to MIT and Princeton if you like them. You're within range, and they're reaches for everyone. If you look at the MIT acceptances thread, the scores are all high but it doesn't seem to be all about scores--it's not like the 2400s all got in. You have a shot, apply if you want to go there.

WPI seems like a safety for you.

Thanks, wackymother. I'll definitely try, but I am not going to be tensed about MIT or Princeton. The way I look at it, if can't get in, probably it is for the best. Who knows what the future holds for each one of us. I don't want to be marginal and unhappy there.
