<p>I've been working on the essay for JHU's summer program and I've run across some difficulties. The essay limit is 2,500 characters and the prompt is as follows: </p>

<p>Please include a 2,500 character excerpt from a recent academic paper you have written. This may be part of an essay, a research paper, a creative writing piece, or any other original work which you believe reflects your personality and academic potential.</p>

<p>My issue is that my excerpt is only 1,035 characters. Is this okay? I've been looking through other essays trying to look for something longer, but I can't cut anything off around the 2,500 character mark and have a proper ending. What should I do? Currently I'm using the introduction of an essay I wrote...</p>
