Horace Mann Chances?

Hi, I'm in 8th grade applying for 9th grade at several NYC day schools. Out of my choices, Horace Mann is the school I wish to go to the most. Any comments you have about my chances would be appreciated. My SSAT scores are as follows:

Verbal: 716 (80th percentile)
Math: 740 (74th percentile)
Reading: 695 (78th percentile)
Total: 2151 (81st percentile)
(ik there not tooo good :/ )

Extracurriculars:
Ski racing - 2007-Present (also a sport offered by HM) *numerous awards
Competitive Sailing - 2007-Present *numerous awards
Soccer - 2007-Present (goalkeeper)
Track - 2010-Present *numerous awards
Pianist - 2005-Present (currently playing work by Chopin)
Guitarist - 2008-2011
Community service - teaching less fortunate kids about the Catholic faith / soup kitchen work

You should study and take the January SSAT to bring those scores up. Horace Mann is quite often regarded as being on the same level as Brearley, Collegiate, Trinity, and Dalton, all of which are TT prep schools in NYC.

I’m signing up for the december 10th test. Is there anything you can suggest to boost the scores in such a short period of time?

i think some of you guys are ridiculous, an 81st percentile is excellent, you have a very good chance. the best schools in the nation have averages of 85-90… less even definitely…

well…I already signed up for the December test so I can probably improve my scores even more with this. Thanks for the feedback. Do you think the rest of my application looking good?
