Hi there! Plz chance me for Dwight Englewood and Horace Mann. I am applying for 10th grade. I still don't know about my application to Horace Mann; its still inactive cuz nobody seems to drop out yet (somebody has to drop out for my application to even be considered since I'm applying for a "nontraditional" acceptance grade).
Academics:
My grades are mostly B+/A- with a couple solid As and occasional A+s.
I take the most rigorous courses offered in my current public school...
I had an AMAZING interview for Dwight Englewood. I also have stellar recs for both dwight and horace mann. I read my recs for Horace Mann (cuz my teacher that wrote my dwight recs didn't let me see them, but I'm positive its really good) and honestly, I couldn't ask for a better recommendation. I still didn't do my interview for horace mann b/c as stated before, my application is still pending. BTW do any of you guys know if any 9th grade Horace Mann student will drop out this year?

I recently got back my scores for the ISEE. didn't do too good, but its too late to retake it now =(
But here it is:
Verbal: 890, 64, 6
Reading: 877, 38 (ik im shocked myself), 4
Quantitative: 925, 99, 9 (WOOO)
Mathmatics: 913, 88, 7 (meh i can live with that)
I also wrote a decent 5-paragraph essay.

Extracurriculars:
I am a stud. at the Juilliard Music Pre-College Division, which is one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. Hopefully Im crossing my finger that they will put some emphasis on this. I am a reowned violinist. I have won many national and international competitions, traveled the world to perform in the most prestigious halls, and also does community service for this nonprofit music organization in NYC.

I really want to go to both of these schools reallllly badly... but seems like my chances look a little slim (unless they put good emphasis on my musical talents.) What are your opinions on my chances? PLZ be honest... I don't wanna get my hopes up, if I'm most likely gonna get rejected XD
