I consistently get 5-7 wrong on the writing section. This is going to KILL me on the PSATs. I've read through Silverturtle's guide but i don't know it's just not clicking. What should i do? Everyone says that writing is the easiest section to do well on.

I disagree with that last statement. Writing is the rarest 800. Math seems to be the section that is easiest to most.

The only thing I can recommend to you is to practice and look for constant mistakes. Playing it by ear seems to help a lot too if it comes down to a few answers. Whatever sounds right most of the time is right. The shorter answer is typically correct too. The more concise, the better.

If you’re getting 5 -7 wrong, then they are probably the harder questions or you’re repeating the same kind of mistakes. What I found (I was once in the same boat) is that the best thing you can do is not to overthink these questions. Get it down to 2 choices, and go with your instinct. This usually will get you more than half of these questions right, and then you’re looking at a very different writing score.

good advice…i’ll look into what types im getting wrong.
