I'm currently a sophomore and took the PSAT today. Totally bombed it. Freshman year I took it and had a horrible score, 139. This time I was saying to myself that I must study. Didn't happen. I really had a long thought and decided to put my maximum effort into studying for next year's PSAT. To express my willingness, I'm planning to rip out all of my Youtube'ing time (which is 1-2hrs on weekdays, 4-5hrs on Saturday, and max 10+hrs on Sunday). Yeah, I really go on Youtube quite often and long too. Haha, back to the topic.

For freshman year I got 41 on both CR and W. Barely got a 57 on Math. Our school gave out little review packets and I got every single on of the Writing questions wrong, that is not just bad, but pure stupid. So to mend it, (couldn't mend it in my soph PSAT because I didn't study at all) I will put my utmost effort into studying for my junior PSAT.

I went ahead and bought Kaplan's SAT review book 2012, does this book actually help? Please recommend any books that might be useful into boosting SAT scores. Thanks a lot.

P.S. As I'm typing this I think my grammar errors can fully show how bad my writing is. If anyone is willing to spare a teenzie bit of time to correct my thread, I will be delighted.
