Horrible sat II scores!?!?

Hi guys, so this past October I took the sat subject tests in Math 2 and Chem, and I did atrocious (570 and 530 respectively). The problem is that I already sent my scores ahead of time, foolishly thinking I would do well and am not sure what to do now. I did fine on my regular sat, 720 reading and 760 math, but will these scores undermine my chances? I took chem like two years and ago and took calc last year so now I’m thinking it was pretty dumb to take these tests now, but I hope that admissions officers take that into account, as well as really good recs from my science teachers.

Where did you send these scores? Are there other schools that you are considering?

I’m applying to nine colleges (nyu, Boston university, penn state, university of Rochester, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Rutgers, Rowan, and tcnj) most of them being ba/md programs that required these tests. My ed school is Johns Hopkins though, so should I find a way to not send these subject tests?

I don’t think you’ll be able to do anything about it, but you could try calling College Board and asking if you can cancel the reports.

I’ll definitely do that! Thank you for the advice

You should get prep books and study for these. Math level 2 is mostly of honors precalculus, not calculus. With scores like that, whatever the circumstances, I don’t think you have much chance at BSMD programs.

Did you call? What happened I am in the ssme situation please HELP!

If you have time to retake, get the barron’s books. I got an 800 on chem immediately after AP Chem and a little bit of barron’s (I know that it’s been a while since you took chem but honestly barron’s is still probably the best). The first time that I took Math ii, I got a 710 or 720 (can’t recall right now). This was because I had just taken a calc course instead of precalc, but I retook after reviewing with barron’s and got an 800. For math I also suggest memorizing as many formulas as possible
