<p>Can you have a meal plan without having on campus housing? because I am a transfer student and I wanted to know if having a meal plan on my bill means I get housing as well?</p>
<p>If you live on campus, you are required to have a meal plan. Otherwise, meal plan is optional. If housing isn’t on your bill, then you don’t have housing.</p>
<p>You can buy a meal plan if you do not live on campus but the first minimum block meal plan you have to buy is a package of 50 meals. After that you can add 10 meals at a time. You can also pay meals as you go. I wanted to buy a meal plan for my son that is a commuter and they recommended that he first try and see how many meals he actually consumed a week because the dinning halls are by the dorms and not too close to his classes.</p>
