hotel management

how hard is to get in?

is it the hardest?

any idea- what are the stats for the students who got in previous years?

should i have more chance to get in to the engineering school or hotel?

It is the hardest if you're just applying there because you think it's easy. However, if you have hospitality experience and can show the school your passion for the industry, then it might not be the hardest. That being said, the Hotel School has one of the lowest acceptance rates at Cornell (percentage wise) because they only accept around 200 students a year.

"should i have more chance to get in to the engineering school or hotel?"

Well, do you want to be an engineer or work in the hospitality industry??

both! haha...
thanks anyways..=)

It's the school of Hotel Administration. If you do apply, make sure you know the school's name before going into the interview.

Stats for students who got in?
The stats are lower in terms of academic than engineering. But everyone at the Hotel School is really well suited for it. Plus, like any other school, you will have someone get in with a 1200 and someone else get rejected with a perfect score, the Hotel School probably won't accept you if you want to be an engineer. (you can look into OR at engineering)

Just out of curiosity--what do you want to do with both a Hotel Degree and an engineering degree? Or do you not care if you get either. I recommend getting the one you enjoy doing more.
