Hotel Recommendation

<p>I am hoping someone can give me a recommendation for a hotel that would be close to Johns Hopkins Hospital. My son will be having surgery there in December. I looked at the Doubletree that was recommended on a previous thread and on the JHU admissions website. It is close to the academic campus, but four miles from the hospital. Would that still be the best recommendation? It has to be comfortable and close as he will be spending the night there after surgery this time. If it were just a 'parental crash pad' for me I wouldn't be concerned. :)</p>

<p>Put “nearby hotels” into the search box and you will find a list of hotels with special pricing arrangements for Hopkins’ patients and their families. Good luck.</p>

<p>That link is an excellent source. If your son’s operation is in the main hospital (Broadway) and I assume it is, look for hotels near East Baltimore. I also check my options with Trip Advisor once I’ve narrowed it down.</p>
